At Elder Law Group PLLC we specialize in legal issues that predominantly affect seniors, the disabled, and their loved ones and caregivers. We invite you to get to know us by reading about our attorneys below, and read what our clients have said about us here.
Lynn St. Louis, Esq.

Lynn St. Louis, Founding Partner of Elder Law Group PLLC, believes that no one is more deserving of dependable and compassionate support than our Seniors. She experienced first-hand the unique challenges facing those in need of Long-Term Care by providing care and guidance for her own aging parents. Lynn is a lifelong Washington State resident and earned a Juris Doctor Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from University of Washington.
Lynn serves as a Board Member for the Washington Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (WAELA). She is former President of the Board, and was voted Member of the Year (2008). In an effort to educate people on the importance of proper Estate Planning, Lynn frequently speaks at community events that are free to the public. She is also:

  • Ranked AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and one of only 5% of female attorneys to be selected for Bar Register of Preeminent Layers – the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards.
  • Rated Superb 10 by Avvo – an attorney-rating site that evaluates experience, reputation, and professional conduct.
  • Licensed to practice law in Washington State and Idaho.
  • A member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Spokane Estate Planning Council, Spokane County Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, and Idaho State Bar Association.

My father was approaching his death and his affairs were in horrible shape. Within a week Lynn was able to prepare all the documents necessary to make sure that all was in good order prior to his passing. In addition she arranged for a geriatric social worker to assist his wife in moving into an independent living cottage on the campus where he resided in a nursing home.
Since my father’s death Lynn has been absolutely wonderful in working through the probate process and assisting in dealing with a supplemental needs trust which she established for my stepmother.
Thanks to Lynn and her staff an untenable situation was made very manageable.” – Roy
Liz Wallace, Esq.

Liz Wallace leads our Tri-Cities branch of Elder Law Group PLLC in Kennewick, WA. Her father died suddenly just after Liz graduated, and just three years later her mother passed away after a prolonged illness. Liz says this gives her a unique perspective on the difficulties people must face during the long illness of a family member. This understanding has fueled her interest in being part of a firm that provides excellent care and guidance for clients planning for and dealing with the difficulties presented by the need for Long-Term Care, illness, and the loss of a loved one.
Liz is a great fan of the Pacific Northwest and the State of Washington and earned a Juris Doctor Degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA. When she’s not working, Liz spends time with her wife and three teenage daughters. They enjoy camping, river floating, reading by the fire, cooking, and playing pool.
When my father got ill and we didn’t think he would make it through the month we realized we didn’t have any type of will together for my father’s belongings. I was completely lost and confused on what to do and how to do it. Elizabeth responded immediately when I contacted her and took care of everything I needed to get it accomplished. I refer her to anyone that needs any kind of professional help.” – Tiffany
Jonas J. Hemenway, Esq.

Jonas Hemenway, a Spokane native, recently returned after spending the last 9 years in Oregon where he completed his Juris Doctor at University of Oregon and practiced as an Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney. He’s excited to be back in Spokane and to continue his practice as an Elder Law Attorney.  When he’s not working, Jonas enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 young children.
Jonas was very thorough in his questioning to make sure he was providing everything we needed and wanted. Everyone we dealt with was professional, kind, and polite. They answered all of our questions and addressed all our concerns to our complete satisfaction. We are very happy with this law firm. We trust them and will use them in the future if any legal problems arise.” – T.C. and L.C.
